The benefits of modern life such as the world wide web, jet travel, and free trade have definitely made the world seem like a smaller place.  The fostering of economic interdependency is known as ‘globalization’, and, by itself, poses no threat to the Biblical model of geopolitics known as the ‘nation-state’ model; however, along with this “flatter world” phenomenon has come the renewal of another model.  It is, historically, the darker, more deceptive worldview of a one world empire now popularized as ‘globalism’.  Globalization is a recognizing of effective national principles and practices benefiting any society, then kneading these same principles into prosperity and peace.  The United States, Japan, and Germany have become leaders in globalization and reaped it’s benefits.  They have done so without compromising national sovereignty.  Globalism, however, is the antithesis of such proven methodology, and seeks to remove or rewrite not only national boundaries, but the successful national values that brace any country’s vibrancy.  Utopian one world dream-chasers camouflage their intentions by confusing the distinctions between globalization and globalism, and by creating international platforms for heralding a new world order.  There can be no mistaking that the philosophical framework of the modern United Nations and the European Union makes them the chief heralds for globalism seeking to undermine the nation state.

Failure of the Nations

When nations forget God, they also stray from the handbook of societal life, the Bible.  The globalization vs. globalism conflict is an ancient one that started in the book of Genesis.  God decrees that man should have dominion over his creation as his servant. The serpent likewise supposes that man should be dominant over creation as God’s equal.  These words are more than semantics, and have had far reaching results.  Man has wrongly chosen the latter path.  This insidious rebellion has continued and is reflected in both personal and national failures.  Some countries have rightly recognized “God gi- ven liberties”, while others have “mandated state allowed activities”.  These are age old differences reflected in such contrasts as capitalism vs. communism, and democracy vs. dictatorship.  torship.  The Satanic strategies of globalism are only attractive where national policies have failed and become repressive.  Bible advocates have flourished in the United States and have thusly been able to counter or offset American failures, but what happens when the Bible advocates are marginalized?

Super Power Polarization

These two contrasting national approaches have historically squared off in a regional and now global polarization of competing ideas.  David and Goliath like showdowns are seen in times past, with Hebrew and Philistine philosophies squaring off in conflict after conflict.  This cycle of war in culture and in arms continues to polarize societies, continents and worldviews. Today there are many who view the world as a divine creation, under God’s control and destiny, divided into nations who either do or do not reflect Biblical views and values.  There are equally as many, and perhaps a great many more perspectives, who see the globe as a universal body, to be singularly governed by  creation, under God’s control and destiny, divided into nations who either do or do not reflect Biblical views and values.  There are equally as many, and perhaps a great many more, perspectives who see the globe as a universal body, to be singularly governed by man, for man; who see the Judeo Christian ethic (The Bible) as the chief obstacle to planetary salvation.  Sometimes competing globalist views unite around this one common thread; “Biblical thought is poison.”

Global Economics

It is this distaste and distrust for the Bible foundation of good society  that formulates the hypothesis and proceeding actions of globalists.  A global economics is about more than money.  It is not the same as, or as simple as, just the globalization of markets.  It is the re-defining of the foundational elements of the command and control of people.  It is the attempt to eradicate Scriptural influence and replace it with humanistic values like, “we know what is best for mankind”, and “our ecological views will bring forth salvation.”  The United Nations has been a breeding ground for such dogmas, and have as their supposed authority, not only international laws and agencies, but a host of NGO’s that attempt to coalesce their raw philosophy with what touches the hearts of ordinary people, thus by passing the nation state proper and perverting the masses directly.  Only Biblical concepts and their advocates can postulate and effect good government with the results being successful nation states; and only Scriptural nation states can fight off the serpentine squeeze into a Babel like order that raises its head again in Revelation’s pages.

Genesis 3:13  “And the LORD God said unto the woman, what is this that thou hast done?  And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.”

Isaiah 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground which didst weaken the nations!”

II Corinthians 11:3  “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

Revelation 12:9  “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
